    Best hardware Book - Ever

If you are wondering what exactly goes on in your PC's hardware, then Upgrading and Repairing PC's 19th Edition is exactly what you need. It also comes with a bonus DVD with 2hrs of footage including how to build a PC. So for example, a CPU's architecture in terms of its data bus, address bus, internal pipeline and registers are also available to determine which CPU you should look at:

Amazon.com: Upgrading and Repairing PCs (19th Edition) (9780789739544): Scott Mueller: Books

As an aside, Windows Internals 6th edition is coming - all the architecture of 7 explained.

I have the 11th edition here, given to me along with this computer. I was told it's a little outdated, but there's still things in it that I can learn. It's huge! I haven't really looked through it yet, though.

I've got this. It's a very informative book, and I always look forward to the next edition for the videos on the DVD.

Cool, thanks for sharing. It's always nice having tech books around and I actually enjoying keeping them at work and reading sections from time to time. While you can research quite a bit on the web..it's always nice to have a single collection of everything right there. You often find yourself reading things you would have never googled on your own.
