In other words, do you need possessions and "toys" in your life in order to bring you happiness ?
I think before in the past I was more materialistic compared to today. Don't get me wrong I still like my "gadgets" and whatnot, but I realized that there's more to life than those things.

Same here, was materialistic in the past. Nowadays, not anymore. I'm grateful for what i have now. :) Cheers.
Definitely have to have my Gadgets, I suppose I could do without them if push came to shove,
but I would never be able to live without my Guns.
Once you collect 'sufficient' material goods one realises that they bring no real joy.
'Sufficient' will mean different things to different people - some come to the realisation early in their collecting career, some never do.
This is the conundrum - you have to experience the material to reject it.
Someone is wise beyond her years. The older I get my focus has changed from things to people.
