    Yes, he can edit the .inf and the current driver will work with his card. Holographics may be somewhat slow due to the low amount of dedicated memory. Maybe see what's up with aperature in the bios.

    And again, sorry to tell you but even if you stock up...once you reach the year 2025, the artificially man-made Virus used to eradicate the plant species is airborne and will also eradicate your stock.
