Mine could be pink with purpley spots, and I would still have to look at the keys,
I am the worst typist in the world.
I hear that, If I can get two fingers typing I'm having a good day.
I used to be like that until I tried a split ergonomic keyboard, my typing improved massively in a short time once the keys were split, I couldn't be without one now.
Eugh! my father in-law has one of those (albeit beige) but he cant type...very irritating watching him.

Whilst it isn't white this keyboard may help with your ocular degeneration Jimbo

I might have to look in to one of those, anything would be an improvement.
    Thanks John.

Quick newegg listing comes up with:

    Keyboard Color
    2-Tone(55)
    Beige(17)
    Black(238)
    Blue(1)
    Pink(1)
    Gray(3)
    Silver(7)
    White(15)
If I had to guess the trend is to match case and monitor border color. Hey if anyone thinks finding a decent white keyboard is hard try matching a white/beige face plate for a DvD burner.

    Hi guys
I find as an older guy using modern keyboards which have black keys with silver / white letters on them very difficult to see sometimes.

The older one's which had WHITE keys with BLACK letters on them far far easier to read seem almost to have disappeared these days.

I've managed tro rescue 2 or 3 of these from "The tip" but can I make a plea here -- not everybody who uses a computer is under 25 these days.

    Cheers
    jimbo
    I agree, Jimbo.

The other day I saw a laptop (I think it was Toshiba) where the letters were backlit. That is really nice. I would have bought it, but it was a 14" and I wanted a 15".

My KBs at home are all backlit. I like keeping the room darkish but even after 30 years of typoing 8-12 hours a day I still cannot compeltely touch type and need to glance at the KB now and then.

My Dell latitude E6400 is backlit. Also using a 13.1" macbook from work right now and it's backlit as well. But I turn off the backlighting to maximize battery life.

Microsoft Ergo Keyboard 4000 - split and angled. I can't use anything else: To the point where I bought my own to use at work.
