I noticed that, but on a bright monitor it is practically white.

Well I was using the Seven Blue v2 wide before but I've just changed to Windows7 b and love it, it even still shows wide for me on my wide screen monitor as well as having the new features.

Think I'll stick with this it certainly doesn't look bright white whether wearing glasses makes any difference I don't know but I like it

I like the lt. blue background a bit better, but not a big deal. What I would like to see is the search engine we had before the server problems cropped up. It worked much better for me.

    Just for kicks

@Cov i voted for the last option by the way. It was not my intention to copy Hard OCP just to point out that with a css plugin for your browser you can change the site to suit your own needs.

WOW ! First I thought that really was hardforum, but they don't use avatars at all, haha.

Well, I don't want this forum to "copy" others, but aren't we talking about a very minor change in the selector menu ?

By starting this thread, my intention was to make the admin aware about some poeple having sensible eyes.
Of course, all others who don't "see" the problem, couldn't care less, hence why so many have chosen option 1 in the poll, otherwise they would have chosen option 3.
Meaning, they WANT all users to use the same scheme as they do ... why is that ?

And suggesting to wear sunglasses or set down the contrast / brightness of my monitor ? C'mon now folks, this specialist forum is about a very clever OS (for smart people I thought), but that was more like a slap in my face.

Well, annyway ... if you think that sensibility to brightness is not common enough and / or you don't care about a minority, then sorry sorry guys ... who have chosen option 2 and 3.

I don't have to wonder why this thread has been moved to the CHILL OUT ROOM, right ?

To sum things up, I have attached a few screenshots for comparison ...

I can't stand a black background on one forum then switch to another forum with a light background. Oh ... my eyes, my eyes!

Sorry about the 'slap in the face'. I kind of thought it would help and didn't mean to diss your suggestion.

I know many people who wear glasses with darkened lenses, and it helps them when working all day in the office with the bright applications.

Please re-read my post again. I did not tell you to switch to another forum! Goodness sakes ...

I was saying, that if I was looking at posts on a black forum, then when I switch to another forum with a light background, my eyes need a few more minutes to adjust to the background and what I'm reading.
