    Not really a "Nirvana" fan but i like some of his songs. I.E "Smells like teen spirit" & "The man who sold the world" R.I.P Kurt. :)

    RIP, Kurt.

    This always gets me in trouble, but I'll say it anyway... I think Kurt was the second best in Nirvana. Dave Grohl turned out to be a better musician/songwriter than Kurt.

    I think if you look at the type of music that Dave Grohl plays, you are correct. It's good to see him back behind the drums again with Them Crooked Vultures, that's for sure.

    I can see why...

    Kurt was Nirvana.

    Proficient musicanship wasn't what Nirvana was about.

    Dave may have been an overall 'better musician', but he's also better at 'generic' pop rock songwriting.

    As a frontman, Dave makes a great drummer
