Not true. those are really nice cars. This particular one comes in 3 (practically identical) flavors - Toyota, Citroen and Peugot. If everybody would be driving cars this size, there would be a lot less trouble in the world and we would stop fighting over oil. Any car that cannot do at least 50MpG (and I do not mean Imperial Gallons) should be banned.

Here's one more car from Car Show here in Leipzig imentioned. The 2,000,000th Opel, build in 1957. Model is Kapitän (Captain in English):

Everything that glitters is real 24 carat gold.

Thanks for that. The odd thing is that being such a small car when I checked the tyre (tire) pressures there was a different figure for cruising at 90 mph. Yes 90 mph. I'm not prepared to say if I have tried to get to that speed but I wouldn't like to argue with Toyota, I know I would loose on that one, seriously. Bit of wind noise though and the windscreen wipers tend to lift off over 80mph. (so they tell me, anyway)
P.S. Years ago I used to drive a Sunbeam Tiger. Sunbeam Alpine body with a Ford V8 engine. Big hump was made in the bonnet to accommodate the air filter! That was quick.

Kari, funny that you posted that model. I owned 2 of those. One in yellow with a white roof and one in baby blue with a white roof (that was the style in those days). The last one was smashed up in an intersection of the Boulevards exterieurs in Paris. I then bought a VW bug - for 7500FF which would be €1200 (about $1700) today.

My grandpa had a Kapitän in Finland in early 60's, used as a taxi.

We really admired this Opel Kapitän yesterday. Every screw, every part that normally would be chrome is 24 carat gold. The car belongs to a private car museum. Here's a pic of the same car found on the net:

Yes, if the grocery store is 2 blocks away and you only have 3 seconds to run and get butter before dinner. otherwise, I hear the turning radius and mpg are horrible.

It's more like FEET per gallon, and there's not a lot of trunk space either.

But like the title says, Your Dream Car.

    .0001 mpg lol

Obama was reading this and just fainted.
(sorry not trying to get political just making a funny)

Edit: estimate on conversion of mpg to feet/gallon was way off.
