    Making a Chrome Extension


    I had a great idea as an extension to Chrome. If you type in, for example, @besweeet into the address bar, it'll automatically take you to Brian (besweeet) on Twitter. So it just needs to replace @ with Twitter. Thought it would be neat. Maybe someone here can help me out?

    Any idea what language it needs to be in? Its been awhile since i've even done a program. I mostly just do visual basic

Hi :D i found that the newly installed Skype plugin was not working on chrome 12 yesterday. both Skype and chrome are up-to-date. the plugin is not shown on chrome plugins/extensions list. did you experience this problem? thank you :D
Ok, I'm now on Chrome 6.0.401.1 dev. version. I hear all this stuff about Plugins but I can't seem to find a definition. What's the difference between a Plugin and an Extension? What can dev version do that beta 5 can't? Seems to be a whole lot of no information.
