That was funny. Thanks for the link. I don't remember ever stealing wi-fi; but I did connect to a neighbors unsecured system just to show him it was not secured.

Something that I'm curious about, is that the speaker in that video implied that a WiFi connection using WPA encryption would not be visible to others...is that true? I have not yet worked with WiFi, even though my router is equipped for it, but I do remember when playing with it seeing a couple of other connections nearby, but it wasn't possible to connect to them, so far as I know.

It would still be visible, just password protected.

You do have the option not to broadcast the network name as well as use a password.
