Lol yea they are way to expensive for what they offer.
Make a hackintosh build. Its fun to tinker and try to get it to work. Pay for the disc also and it should be legit. All Mac is, is a polished up Linux "to me in my thought" with severe restrictions. Just good because of Final cut for video editors but not everyone does that. Theres other good stuff for it though.
Ahem I voted for it fyi.
Is it really possible to build a hakintosh ? I think that it is just an unben legend. I tried severel times, it installed fine, booted up nicely, and then said that a file ( I cant remember what) is missing. I searched for it , but google could not say anything about that file. I concluded that the file was never there, like the dragons and yeatis and pegasases and the Hogwarts.
I've posted proof of me having OS X on my laptop (HP DV5-1235dx) on SF before, I'd show you right now but I currently have it uninstalled.

There are a few members here that will vouch for me though. Its not as hard as you think, just get the right kexts. Try Empire EFI. Thats what I use for install the retail copy (but my laptop also is retail compatible, not every computer is).

I dare to say I'd choose Mac... but I would (and to be honest I use Snow Leopard at least as much as 7 ).

Its possible, lol. Um trying to make an ATI 5000 series to work might be something else unless you can write your down drivers and force them or until someone else is able to write them. If you can get some of the items Mac uses it works. Like 9600GTX nvidia cards. I have seen someone with a GTX295 work for them. There are builds that people have up if you want it to work with less errors and less hassle. A lot are a shot in the dark though. Probably not for the faint of heart. I like to learn or try so yea. I still LIke Windows no matter what people say.

That guy does some funny comics, today for the Press Enterprise (newspaper) he had a Adam and Eve apple parody but with Microsoft and Apple. on two sides hanging from trees with a snake replying to "this one is less buggy" pointing to the apple when the guy was picking up the Microsoft one. That was funny and OT

Not sure what you just said, but the ATI 5xxx series currently do not work as they are to different from its OS X Counterparts (the older series) so until a driver is made for a similar or same card, on OS X, the bare essentials (native resolution) is likely all you'd see.

I'm an unfortunate person as I only get Native Resolution with my Intel 4500MHD, no QE/CI (2D/3D Accerelation for those who do not know what it is).

Ya'll making me want to reinstall OS X! :|

Thats all I said (of what you just wrote of ATI 5000 not working atm) but sometimes I cant explain so well. Apologies on my behalf since English isn't my first language despite living in US since I was 3 months old.

Ah no worries. If one person doesn't understand it theres always someone who does. I thought you were saying the same thing as me but I said what I said anyways as I was positive. I'm tempted to reinstall OS X Snow Leopard but theres not much progress on QE/CI for my card so I essentially can't use a few applications in SL, including the screenshot feature, previewing images, iTunes coverflow. No gaming on OS X either (Yes, everyone, games exist for OS X).

I would most likely be using Ubuntu on my Dell Dimension 2400 (Runs perfectly, not hunting for drivers or anything) although that computer dual boots Ubuntu and XP, Ubuntu is what gets booted mainly. If I could get a Mac though, I would be happy to use that
