nothing broke or bruised is any fun... everything is such a hard task..
I broke a bone near my right thumb ( in my wrist ) last spring.. I took a tumble in the yard.. after talking to my neighbor.. he never knew I fell..I thought It's was ok.. then looked at my hand.. nope this has to be seen about.. so drove my self to the emergency room.. took 6 very long weeks to get out of the cast.. that's my dominate hand.. so you can imagine what trying to get dressed was like.. and doing make-up and hair..brushing my teeth.. flossing was totally OUT.

Today, huh?

Today I finished burning 50 DVDs of a talent show for the PTA fundraiser I filmed at my daughter's school last month.

[makes me not want to volunteer again]

That was on the 8th of March. I broke two ribs and gave myself a slight lung bleed.
Here we are on the 25th and I still have blood in my lung and still can't do much. I've got it down to about 90 seconds to get my trousers on, bit longer taking them off, and sleeping is sporadic.
Also the codeine knocks me out so my decorating is at a dead halt as I either don't have the energy or I go back to bed.
Oh well. I am much better than I was last week and I have the money to buy a monitor for my bedroom pc:) so things are on the up.

You are a very good DAD.. no doubt you daughter is so pleased you did this ..if not now then she will later on.
Schools need more Dad's like you to help out.. when my daughter was in school.. we had almost all of the parents involved.. now it's rare to get one or two who will... children who have parents involved in what they are doing.. are much better students.. rarely get in any trouble.
