Thanks LPt, I hope it arrives today, too. I know ppl have gotten great service from them otherwise they would not be as successful as they are, but I have not had much experience and this makes me a little anxious about getting anything else delivered by them. At least when the UPS driver made a mistake during the last week of December (he thought our building was closed so he didn't stop by), even though the package was also two days early the CS at UPS bent over backwards to move it to a facility near me so that I could pick it up on my way home. That was awesome.

UPDATE: I checked the FedEx site ~8:30am and there was no info regarding delivery (UPS usually updates ~6:30am or so as being "Out for Delivery"). I was a little peeved, but decided to wait until after 10am since that was when it was updated on Monday. Well, I got busy here at work and did not have the opp until just now. Low and behold at NOON there was an "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" status update. I guess that means I should be getting it by 6:30pm or so, right? Let's hope it is all in one piece. Good thing I have to leave early today to get my son from daycare, so I will be home if they need a sig even if they come before 5pm.

Time to find a helpful post from SG9 so that he will only have 246 rep to go.

    Today...?

Pretty good day for being a school day. Before taking the 4 y.o. to school, we engaged in a versus game of Peggle. Makes her day to turn on the computer and start the game.

Right now... fired up the pit and got some chicken thighs and cajun seasoned salmon soaking up the hickory smoke...

    :)

Today... I am driving down to the LBZ!

My memory arrived, intact, and less than three hours after being loaded on the truck. Makes you wonder why they couldn't have sent somebody out yesterday since they only loaded it at noon today. Oh, well... it is here.

Congrats to you VulcanSoulPatch and you Kari for having your problems sorted. As mentioned in a previous post, shame these things happen to nice people.

Sergiogarcia9: looking forward to that tutorial as I'm planning to build my own pc and will find it very helpful. Will you be talking about compatibility issues, etc? Cos I always get confused over what works with what and doesn't work with that and this and such and such. lol

Well, today my friend and I decided to have a study session together to get back into a working routine before we start back on our courses after easter (at uni ). Needless to say, lovely day, sitting outside and we just ended up talking the whole time and didn't actually get any work done

Apart from that, just been checking what I need to study ready for my exams in may. Er, basically EVERYTHING!!!

Oh, uh, erm... my mistake. Your questioning it made me question it, so I Googled it and found out that I have been under a false impression all these years. I've seen the LBZ sticker around and heard it in a Sublime song, so I thought it referred to Long Beach... heh... now I see it is motocross apparel.

Looks like I am not the only one to make that mistake (from 50's Road Worn Tele Club - Page 10 - Telecaster Guitar Forum:

I don't remember who the originator is now, or if I even ever knew, but it is one of my favorites. Safe to use in all settings.
