    Today my copy of XP puked... fortunately ( I thought ) just a matter of reinstalling, right?? Nooo ... the disk was too old to read.... Linux to the rescue!! Re-downloaded from Technet, burned a new copy and re-installed.... oops, no ethernet controller driver... its just not been a good week for computers ... but all's good now ... gawd I cant wait to get my main rig back up and running...

    Although in hindsight, you should have just stayed in Linux and left XP go gracefully - or pukefully

    Kari glad to hear that you've started to enjoy your retirement, that is a nice computer that they bought you, enjoy using it, you don't have to be a gamer to enjoy using a fast machine.
