    Ever read your processor datasheet?

Will my processor/socket/motherboard self-destruct at 16? Perhaps the pins all fall off or stay stuck to the socket

    Package Insertion Specifications

The processor can be inserted into and removed from a LGA775 socket 15 times. The
socket should meet the LGA775 requirements detailed in the LGA775 Socket
    Mechanical Design Guide.

Can't say I ever read that statement before... Not that I have ever really removed or reseated a processor after the initial setup...

I have 13 left on my new build.. since I did seat the processor twice just making sure it was firmly in place~~ the counter is probably Intel Inside~ maybe the Intel singers come out at 16 and hum that little tune as the processor bursts into flames..
