    One thing I have done in the past is to visit the store wearing an exclusive Microsoft branded T-Shirt. It's interesting to see how many of the customers come over to speak to the "Official Expert", sporting the Win7 Technet T-shirt rather than those wearing just the store logo

    my personal favourite pc buying experience was when i went into John Lewis, on one particular pc it said 2cpu speed 2.5Ghz, FSB 1300 (i think, it was about that anyway) bloke read this off to me i turn round and go "no it doesn't, thats the ram timing, if it had an FSB of 1300 the multiplier on the cpu would be less than 1," funnily enough he left me alone after that
