    I wouldn't call it sad at all. If I could see it, I'd watch.

    17,218 mph sounds fast, but it most likely feels slow to those on the station.

    hi smarteyeball, if you go to the link , and choose sighting oppurtunities and select your country it will give you the dates and times it will be visible in your part of the world

    Yes My friend there is, telescope and camera in hand. I have even seen an astronaut doing maintenance.

    thats fantastic zigzag , ive never been in a position in time or in the right part of the world when they do the walks and maintenance to be able to see them i was lucky enough to see the shuttle dock on the iss once but that is all im afraid never got a picture

    i watch it when i get the chance, have you ever seen the shuttle when its trailing behind? now thats just awesome
    yes i did once it was a daytime liftoff in USA meaning night time in Uk beautiful clear night the ISS passed over 10 minutes later the shuttle appeared complete with small vapour trail , absolutly fantastic
