LOL, I guess that's the difference between girls and ladies.Oh, there are girls at my school like that as well
Hi there
try the FBI or the Military -- I certainly wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of THOSE ladies.
I think you'll find that being a "Grade A A--hole" is essentially "Gender Neutral".
However statistically the OP *could* be correct on the grounds that I would imagine a technical Forum like this one or say a Harley Davidson Bikers Forum would have a LOT more male members and therefore you'll get more "abusive" replies.
Try logging on to a Forum more geared to womens hobbies / pursuits etc then the reverse could be true.
The best way on the Internet is not to get involved -- if people don't want to get helped -- then don't waste your time.
On the whole this Forum is rather good - people seem to offer reasonable and usually good advice -- most of the people who I want to steer clear of are people who are quite agressive and DEMAND help having only made one or two posts - and NEVER offer any thanks or whatever to people who have solved their problems for them.
If a post or topic offends - just ignore. In extreme cases just report to a mod. This Forum seems extremely well moderated so I'm sure problems if they DO arise don't appear that often and are easily and quickly dealt with.

The one person who Thanx you should cancel out the next hundred of these...at least that's how i deal with it...
Giving them a 2nd thought means they come out on top.
what bugs me is when im reading through different posts and learning from others experience and knowledge and the OP gets several responses to his /her prob and then doesn't reply again you dont know if the "help" they recieved worked. talk about cliffhanger its so rude
yeah i have to say most posters are polite and do appreciate the help they get, its more about others learning from posts they read or have done searches for answers to find no answer to possible soloutions ,still it is a minority here on 7f we is mo' sophisticated
