I HATE (with the burning passion of a thousand suns) the way pinning works.

I use quick launch instead :)

I agree I do the same thing

Quick launch looks nicer and takes up less space Also it dose not spread out the icons all over the task bar it groups everything in one spot :)
The thing I hate about it is that you cannot click on it again to start another file. I don't like how it looks either...

True. I have to FF windows open and a few tabs in etch...so that would not help me out much

Also it is ugly as shit

From left to right.....Windows Explorer, MediaMonkey, Exact Audio Copy, xrecodeII, the snipping tool, Irfanview, Firefox3.6, YouTube Downloader, and VLC.

And now that I am almost done ripping all my CD's, I'll probably unpin EAC and xrecodeII soon.

A better question would be what isn't
I have my task bar set up much like the Dock on a Mac, I have no icons on the desktop aswell.
    So here goes;
    Windows Explorer,
    Apple Software Update,
    Safari,
    iTunes,
    Windows Live Mail,
    Windows Live Photo Gallery,
    Windows Live Movie Maker,
    Cool Edit Pro,
    Windows Live Messenger,
    Pidgin IM,
    Paint,
    Word,
    Power Point,
    Excel,
    Double Twist,
    BT Softphone,
    Task Manager,
    Control Panel.

    I think that's it

I personally have a hard time living without the pinned taskbar anymore!

On my work computer, probably the biggest convenience is the frequently used folders (and pinned ones of course). I am constantly going through folders several layers deep and it cuts down on time (as well as frustration).

Command Prompt, Firefox, Editplus. That's all I have pinned on my taskbar.

Nothing! I have the desktop toolbar on the taskbar so I can add/remove anything easily.

Libraries, WMP, WLM, IE, Google Chrome, Nero8, Xvid4Psp, Paint.net, Revo Uninstaller, Wise Registry Cleaner, Ccleaner, Games.

[Edit] Just got rid of Wise Registry Cleaner. I think it effed up my system a little.
