In this exact order

Nothing. Quick Launch have what I need, plus Office and Photoshop pinned to Start Menu.

I HATE (with the burning passion of a thousand suns) the way pinning works.

I use quick launch instead

TrueCrypt, Acrobat Reader, Windows Explorer, Snipping Tool, Excel 2007, Word 2007, Outlook 2007, IE8.0, and AT&T Communications Manager. I also have several Acrobat, Word, and Excel files pinned to their respective icons for quick, right-click access (love that feature), and have a dozen frequently visited sites pinned to the IE icon.

I agree I do the same thing

Quick launch looks nicer and takes up less space Also it dose not spread out the icons all over the task bar it groups everything in one spot

The thing I hate about it is that you cannot click on it again to start another file. I don't like how it looks either...

Pinned Taskbar item open new icon instead of on top of pinned item?
I've got two laptops here. Both running Windows 7. On one when you pin an item to the taskbar and run that program it does not open another icon on the taskbar. On this one it will open a new icon on the taskbar. Why is this the case and how do I fix it please?
