    Ugh, parents wanting grandkids...

Some how my mom wanted to know when she might can expect some grandkids. I told her to look to my little brother for that one. Then she kept asking why.

So just wondering, how many people here are 30+ and still dont have any kids, and dont plan on having any.

not only do i hear this one but i also hear on a regular basis that it's time i get married. at 27 im just now beginning to think of children as something i want later but probably not for the next few years. we do have a wedding sate planned we have decided on sept 7th of 2011 which the 10 year anniversary of the day we met and went on our first date but that seems to be to far off for our parents. making matters worse my parents already have 3 grandchildren from 2 of my younger sisters(im from a large family with 5 kids me being the oldest.) so far all i know to tell them is they will have grandchildren when we decide that we are ready to have kids until then we have a wonderful happy life and that is enough for both of us.

Regardless of age, two people decide if & when they want children or not............potential Grandparents should allow them that freedom.

Having to contend with Sister's kids is enough "satisfaction" for me

I used to have three kids, but they eventually grew up and none of them are playing WoW in my basement (for which I am thankful).
