I used to have three kids, but they eventually grew up and none of them are playing WoW in my basement (for which I am thankful).
Wish I could say the same, my 4 adult kids still live at home (all attending school). My wife and I don't see any grandkids in our immediate future.

My wife and I were 20 when we married. Waited until 30 to start having kids. Here's the drawback to that: Friends that got married at 24-25 but had kids right away, all their kids are out of the house and they are empty nesters while we still have our kids living at home. I can't see retirement in the near future!

    Decided since i'm 15 : no children for me. I'm 40 now...

The woman i'm with has 4 ones (now 3, one is gone...). We used to live all together for about 3-4 years (we're a couple since 2002) but i left, i was becoming mad! We see us again now, but i won't live there anymore. Surely later because i love her, but i can't stand children...

Congrats to all very brave parents, it's really a work, you know!!!

Some how my mom wanted to know when she might can expect some grandkids. I told her to look to my little brother for that one. Then she kept asking why.

So just wondering, how many people here are 30+ and still dont have any kids, and dont plan on having any.

Your Dad didn't say anything about grandkids did he? I'll bet not.
When I married in '85 we got to stay in the guest bed when we visited. When the kid came in '89 it was "glad to see you, I've got a hotel room for you".
I told my kid when you have your own don't figure on grandpa baby sitting till it's house broke. Guys only want to have to change diapers on their own kids.

I'm 38, and I don't see myself having any kids. Of course, I haven't met Ms. Right yet, either....but at this point, I have enough trouble taking care of myself, much less kids.:)

I never wanted kids. The perfect number of children is zero!
Before I got married, I made it clear the zero children rule was not negotiable.

Wife and I have 3 Boston Terriers, That is all they are getting We get it alot, but we have no plans for kids. We are kinda selfish I guess and enjoy being able to just pick up and leave any time and do what we want. Dogs don't seem to mind if you buy them the cheap food so you can get beer and wine. They also don't mind the next day when you have a headache and want to lay in bed till noon, they just lay there with you
