Windows 7: Gadgets - Useful or just "Geeky Toys"

Vista H.P. SP1 x32 Seven RC x64

I should use it.. If Serious Samurize did not exist

Some gadget are cool and/or usefull... But I can do exactly the same thing, and more with one Serious samurize instance. This one need 3-4MB .. when Gadget Engine need 10x more (40-50MB!!!). I really do not understand why it need so Memory for that. So I prefere a light software which is powerfull.

My Samurize client show me all this thing:

Memory (RAM/SWAP) usage
CPU usage (4 cores)
Disk space ( 2 HDD with 2 partitions + 2 net drives on the server)
Upload/Download in KB/s with graph for my computer, my router an the server (thanks to SNMP)
Voltage (Vcore, 12V, 5V) of the computer
Temperature (Each CPU cores, MB, HDD)
Uptime (Computer, server)
External IP

All of that with this:
(Old version but it looks like )

I use the "dock" option of samurize, so even with fullscreen App I can see it

And Yes I'm a Geek

Hi there

never thought of that one -- but these days I'd probably rather NOT know what kids are up to.

What would I think of if after all these years of supporting Man U (even as a non English guy -- although I got my degree from UMIST in Manchester UK) and then I saw my son supporting Liverpool at Anfield. )

Horror of Horrors.

Sorry to "Scousers" -- I've had great times in the City but supporting Liverpool FC is just a step too far for me.
