It is sad that these HOA board members think they can get away with anything.
Being an experienced auditor, I'm interested to see what the 1120-H Federal tax returns have to say about their antics.

Meanwhile, on the car front - this car has been reported to police as a suspicious looking vehicle -- > 20 times now. A few weeks ago, 5 police cars responded to an anonymous call - "suspicious vehicle" -

It's my car and the no-longer-anonymous caller can see it parked from his front window.

The funniest of these asinine and sad calls -
    - 3:30 pm - pick kids up at school; cops come - anonymous call "black car speeding"
    - 7:30 pm - came back home w/ kids again; cops arrive - anonymous call "black car going suspiciously slow down street"

My soon to be 9 yr old said to police "... too fast.... too slow... what are we supposed to do..?"

Godwins law. I am calling it.

Also, this is stupid. You should try to get this member removed from the board permanently (arrested would be fun too), or just completely ignore their power and treat them like they are a stupid little kid (which they are).

lol, but in this case its true. they try to control everything and when you try to resist the HOA takes you to court to rape you for even more money. they get what they want in the end and theres nothing you can do about it. its never worth it to move to a place that makes you be in the HOA.

I agree - pure BS & stupidity to top it off.

Problem is -- it's not just one board member. It is literally all of them now. The sensible board members either unfortunately moved away or resigned because of this mess.

I agree about living in HOA community - never again. Things here were fine until so many went into default with HOA fees, which strips them of voting. That's when the jack-asses made their move. And you are right-on the mark about the HOA and court.

No one here plays tennis, except the idiotic board member that lives across the street from the tennis court.

In fact, this showed up in one of the HOA newsletters -

The antics by some here would make the best episode of "Dallas" look like 1st-graders at work.

    Unreal, but so tragically true.

    Thanks. . .

    John

You should all just one day go out and organize a community basketball game on the tennis court.

And continue to hold things ON THE TENNIS COURTS, when you are sure that he is home. Make sure he knows about them too.

Oh, I think he will definitely know -- one night back when, a flashing red light could be seen emanating from one of his windows. A document related to a court case surfaced with dates and exact times of violations which he reported, yet was not home at the time of such alleged violations.

Maybe his recording devices are wireless and the signal will be picked up soon.

    Oh that sounds like fun....

I find his arrogance astounding, though not quite on par with Fred Phelps (whom I was reading about for Government class.....).
