Hosts File : New Tutorial!

    I just mad a change to this one and I think it looks better.

    Under "Option Three" I removed the second snip and put the ping commands in a Code box.

    Wow, thanks for the info. I've always wondered how to do that manually. That's good.

    If I may -- not intending to show up the work you've done -- I've always used Spybot - Search & Destroy for adding Host Files automatically.

    Thanks, Spybot S&D is the first time I'd heard of the Hosts File also, it's just something that caught my interest and I decided to learn how it works.


    Actually, the MVPS Hosts File in the "Info" is a very good Hosts File to use.

    Figured it out...

    Used MVPS batch file then used Spybot to add its list.

    For those interested.



    I've re-done a couple of the snips and repositioned some of the watermarks, I also made all the links look the same; to me , it looks a lot better.
