Windows 7: Peter Steele of Type O Negative dies at 48

Peter Steele of Type O Negative dies at 48

When I was in my mid to late teens living on the streets of San Diego, Type O Negative helped me get through some really rough, suicidal times. The emotion behind the music and lyrics of these dark, heavy songs really made me feel like there was someone out there that knew what I was going through.

Last night, Peter Steele, lead singer and bassist of Type O Negative, passed away at age 48 of heart failure. Hearing the news threw me back to that time for a bit, so in honor of him, I am playing Type O Negative all day.

With a distinctive deep bass voice, and a wickedly dark yet smart sense of humor, Steele was one of the most charasmatic frontmen to ever grace the Goth/Dark/Metal scene.

RIP Peter, you will be missed.

I'm sorry to hear about that, At least music and memories last as long as you want them to.

P.S. Glad there was something to carry you through your rough times.

Carry on with your all day music marathon.

Wow that sucks, I remember Type O. Great band!! That was back when Roadrunner records actually carried some good bands. Type O (of course), Life of Agony (they hepled me through the same kinda stuff), King Diamond, Machinehead, Sepultura.

Man Bloody Kisses was a great album!! I am in shock over this. Going to have to dig out the tape and sit back and listen tonight.

RIP Peter

That's a shame to hear. He did do some great music and listened to them quite a bit. His music will no doubt live on though.

Negative Memory during app install
So apparently I have -1025 mb of memory What's the deal? I've run the same program in 1 x64 virtual machine and 1 x86 machine, without issue. It's probably because I upgraded this machine from 7100 -> 7264. Does anyone know why the program is seeing -1025 mb? I can finish the install,...
