I have old eyes plus glasses but it's a lot easier for me to read a post in the default font than the bold one but that's me and I'll get used to it you're the only one that does it so it's OK

Putting on my "Printer" glasses we were always taught that it is easier for someone with reading difficulties to read standard fonts rather than bold. And that text ideally is fully justified. The easiest to read is a Times Roman seriffed face but it matters a lot what the length of the line is. The leading (Gap between the lines) is also important. Unfortunately in computing when we send text to each other as here on the Forum we have no control over line length and HTML code does not like fully justified text. The editor here gives a choice of left, right or center justified but you can't fully justify. That's because of the auto word wrap when each person has a different monitor and resolution. Also depends on whether you use full screen or less.
