    7.2 Baja California Earthquake

Just had a big earthquake near Baja California. I felt that one here in L.A.

Did you feel it Aaron? Skipped right passed me. I was coming in from outside and noticed that my window blinds were moving back and forth--as if a window was open. I next saw a tweet from a friend--then another tweet from KABC radio confirming the quake.

Oh yeah, I felt it. Came in slow waves for a long while. Pretty strong ,even way out here. Kind that makes you all nauseous and dizzy feeling.

They were having a few 3 and 4's in that spot for a week or so before. A 4 yesterday, shows on the map there.

That's crazy! This is the first one in a very long time that I actually didn't feel.

But on a side note, I have a sister and niece in Chula Vista (like about 5 miles from the border) and they said the shaking was very strong. All of them are O.K., though.

I live in Chula Vista also and it was the strongest one I've ever felt here. I've lived here on and off since 1977 and it was a pretty scary 30 seconds or more

BTW, I'd like to report that Windows 7 is Earthquake proof
