I see what you mean. You should get a print how my friends are... they are going crazy :P
I never accept any apps, games or anything. Only thing that i got is my company there (fan page) for it.

P.s. you can never ever delete a fb account, only unactivate it :/ that sux

You can actually. It was a pain, but I figured it out.

Then I went and recreated it like 2 months later.... but with MUCH less info.

I disowned a cousin on FB as her worthless husband use vulgar language on it so everyone could see it.
So I deactivated my account and deleted her and hubby from my contact list.
I only use the phone, Skype, and of course e-mail.
The only place I am social is out on the golf course.

I have an FB account because my kids and grand kids live so far away. But I rarely use it and I don't play the silly games nor join the fan clubs.

Well sort of. Personal Opinions here: Poker is only fun when you are gambling. that is the whole point of poker. Since I dont gamble, its not fun for me either. Play penny poker with friends were everyone gets 5 dollars worth of chips and you will see it can be fun. this is especially true with Texas Hold'em. Rummy is very fun though. I like that game.

I dont understand the point of Farmville either. Did we move to fast from farming to city life and subconsiously miss the exhausting physical labor so much that we have to revert back to it digitally? Or are we just bored? My guess is as good as yours.

I agree with Thorsen. I don't gamble so I don't play poker either even though I like the game. And, like you and Thorsen, I don't care for Farmville either. First off, I don't have the time to waste on it and secondly, I did plenty of farm work in my youth. It was a good life; but not an easy life. I, too, am bombarded with with Farmville requests and I just ignore them.

I've had a look at Facebook and thought it was a lot of grwn-ups who hadn't yet grown up!!! There's logic there somewhere. I use Skype as it's good to see people at the other end, the telephone but not a mobile, I hate the rotten things, emails for convenience and to non personal contacts but mostly I write letters. Gosh aren't I getting old.
P.S. And I use a 52 year old Parker Fountain pen with the original nib!!!!!!!
