Money is very short for me...I did try seeing about the full 7 installation on my hard drive, and as said, it would take up around 80% of the drive. But I did do the vLite idea, and it has worked wonderfully. I can say now that I'm happily setting up Windows 7 now.
Is it allowed to rep in the Chillout forums? xD
Still have XP on wife's laptop. It has been sentenced to death but the execution date has not been set. Too busy doing the flower beds, spring cleaning and weekend festivals.

Prisoner, Well I am glad you got a solution. And thanks for the virtual reps - don't worry about it.
XP is STILL a solid OS. It isn't going to die out nearly as fast as "Windows 7 only" fans seem to think. I'm currently running 7 Ultimate x64, but if for some reason I couldn't, I would run XP-Pro SP3 WAY before I ran Vista. I have a funny feeling that Microsoft will continue to support XP longer than they have announced too.
XP had a great run, and apparently it's not exactly dead yet. I remember when XP-Pro SP2 first came out. It blew me away. It was Microsoft's finest hour to date.
