I use (prefer) IE8 and sometimes I use FF. I've never tried Chrome because of the 'update' .... I update my stuff manually, except for my Antivirus.

Just upgraded to IE8 this afternoon and so far it's quite speedy, just got to get Vista SP2 when it comes down the pipe and I'm all set. Had my Office 2007 SP2 this afternoon as well.

I used to use Maxthon at one time for a while but now just stick with IE and don't see the need to have another browser when this one suits me fine

    hi all..

I seem to bounce back and forth between IE8 and Chrome. My biggest complaint with IE8 is it seems to be alot slower then IE7 at times. I think the beta IE8 loads alot faster then what MS decided to put out for upgrade!

I use Chrome, best by far imo, although not perfect... IE has been so slow since 7, 8 just pains me! Never been a fan of FF tbh, too many thing don't render/work correctly.

I thought you were a huge chrome fan or am I thinking of someone else here?

    EDIT:

Generally speaking I'm a Firefox kind of guy. I tried Chrome and it's certainly fast but not as many useful functions and add-ons imo.
Also I like the look of FF.
A couple of days ago I discovered Shiretoko 3.1 beta 3 x64 and I'm now using that.
It's early days but my initial impressions are that it's fantastic.

anyone else tried it or have any views?
    Best wishes, John:)

I have used Chrome for 5 months. The 1st thing I do is put the "bookmarks" in a new folder on the left side where we're all used to them. I cannot use any other browser now. I hope they get the plugins soon but I don't even care.....I LOVE Chrome.

I use IE8 when on Seven. I do use Chrome sometimes when working on the main XP machine. I have not tried Chrome on 7 since Feb. I will try it again since the RC. Looks like some favorable reviews on this forum. lm
