Jobs slams Adobe Flash as unfit for iPhone

For iPhone users who've been wondering whether their devices will support Flash technology for Web video and games anytime soon, the answer is finally here, straight from Steve Jobs: No.

To be honest I love my iPhone. I had a palm treo750 with WM6 and there is no comparison. I don't really hate that there is no flash support, If I run accross a site that requires it I'll wait till I am home. I really have yet to have that problem. I am not saying that Jobs is not a total tool though, because well.....he is

To quote Mr Jobs on flash: "the number one reason Macs crash"

I thought they say Mac's never crashed? Or is that only until you start adding additional software? So you can buy a Mac and not put anything on there just in case...
You could also argue that Windows would never crash until you start adding software and playing around with it...but if you didn't do any of that stuff what would be the point in having a computer in the first place?

I read about this too (CNN Tech frequenter since I have double study halls at school). It makes me sad to hear it, but I don't miss it much, as most of the Flash I use is on YouTube. I wish Apple would at least try it.. Adobe would probably be more than happy to port a iPhoneOS version of their mobile Flash if they had a chance of making money. It's not like we're going to be running Flash for the hours and hours that it would take to run down the battery on the iPhone 4G, which would be a good candidate for the update to be on...

Apple users are in denial that their fantasy lands aren't perfect.
