happy mothers day to all you mum's out there, gonna be a wierd one for me, I lost my mum at christmas, so this mothers day will be spent with my 10 year old brother trying to keep his mind off of the fact that its mothers day

ForeverZero has a valid point and The Howling Wolves is right on target. When my children were young, we went shopping for Mother's Day and I had each of them pick something that they wanted to give their mom. Then I picked something that would be just for her.
As they got older, I would give them suggestions and go with them if they wanted me to. I would still get her something just for her. But I emphasized my own mom on Mother's Day.
