and i think you missed an option.... how about "I have no problem with Linux on paper, but actually making it work is too much of a pain in the ass"?
I think a lot boils down to what you are trying to accomplish with the oS. For a general purpose web surfing machine with a wired ethernet connection...I find it simple.

or "I just prefer Windows" (I fall into both these categorys)
I was going to do an option like that but the maximum number of poll options is 10.

How are you finding the 9 RC compared to 8?

Just installed Ubuntu 9.10 on a Dell C640 laptop 2.6 ghz P4-m cpu/ 2gb ram (Ubuntu 9.10 - 60gb HDD / Win7 HP - 120gb HDD. Swap drives out as needed), a Home built AMD 4800+ dual core desktop (Ubuntu 10.04) and a Gateway v933 professional PC (Ubuntu 9.04). I must say that Ubuntu is just getting better and better all the time, I am finding it a joy to play with.

Currently testing the 10.04 install on desktop and 9.10 on the laptop, if all goes well with my desktop test system, in about 1-2 months, I will upgrade the laptop to 10.04LTS too. I am beginning to feel like replacing Win7 HP as the primary OS on the laptop permanently but only time will tell.

My next project is to take the Gateway v933 and try building a Ubuntu Home Server to do the same things as my Windows Home Server does. I know....why re-invent the wheel but...really, it could be fun and nobody else has done it yet including the pc client for automated backups of the desktops.
