I agree with pparks. I have never owned an Apple product; but I have nothing against Apple. I have used a Mac from time to time.

Both in my military career and in my civilian career, PC's were used. It was easy to bring my work home having my own PC. I was able to use MS Office at home under license of both my military employer and my civilian employer. PC's and MS are the standards in the corporate and government worlds.

I also do not like the high cost of a Mac vs the PC I can build for myself and work on myself - tailored to me specifications.

As far as phones go, all I want from a mobile phone is to make phone calls. I don't text, check email, browse the web, etc by phone and don't want to. I have a laptop for that.

The one program/function I feel is missing from my ipad experience is OneNote, or an equivalent notetaking program to sync with my desktop.
