Sweet :) Today I made a discovery. If you click your mouse wheel on a link in FF it opens it in a new tab :)

I also continued working on my Sims Mod to make all the Service Sims (like the maid) into unpaid child slaves.... yeah don't ask....

Today (Monday 21st) is a solstice, sun reached its northernmost position in the sky exactly 11:28 AM UTC. Here in northern hemisphere it means today is the longest possible day; the days are now getting shorter and nights longer.

Summer has not really started and we are already going towards winter...

Today was the first day of Wimbledon. For once, it didn't rain

(For those of you who don't know, Wimbledon a tennis tournament held every summer here in the UK, and basically, it rains every day for two weeks until it's over normally)

Back home, in Finnish Lapland above the Arctic Circle, it's already been couple weeks of Midnight Sun. Couple more weeks, then the days start to be shorter and shorter, until around the winter solstice (this year December 21st) there's several weeks long night, no sun or daylight.

From my childhood I remember these "daylight nights" as something magical, as well as the depressive "night all day" around the Christmas.

I have been near the Arctic Circle during the daylight nights; but, thankfully, never experienced the night all day. I spent a number of years in the tropics where day and night are 12/12 year round. And there is no twilight. When the sun goes down it is like someone turned off the light switch.
