She was awful fussy about her 91 Toyota.
Last year, I put the First set of Brakes on it ... I was tired of hearing her worry bout them.

Looking for the Ventshields now ... I'm afraid These interior mounts will mess up the windows.

Starwolf ... You might want a set of these for your new Toyota ..
I love them on my Envoy .. But they're the tape-on type.

They don't mess up the windows; at least mine don't. We have them on both of our trucks.

    ????
One of the users reports said they did ..
The Window rides on the thin plastic that's the interior mounting when it's rolled up.

And you can leave the windows cracked on a hot day for ventilation ...
and not worry about rain getting in.

Noyb don't give her a hard time about her car.. I am too.. ..
I've not ever had to have brakes redone on any vehicle I've had or driven..
I do drive too fast , I'm very careful.. I'm careful to miss everything on the roads..like objects or pot holes..and such stuff.. I don't ride my brake.. in fact I don't have to use my brakes very often, I'm a very defensive driver... I'm a talker..but do very little in the car when I'm the driver.. I'm watching all of the traffic on the road.. I rarely get to be a seat warmer.lol

You don't drive through McDonald's. The way your description of driving and rarely using the brakes, you just make a U-turn and pick up the road kill for dinner!

On the ones we have that is only at the top and into the curve on each side. The glass doesn't ride on the plastic; it stops against it when the windows are rolled all the way up. I just lubed (with silicone) the tracks the windows ride in yesterday and there was no plastic except at the top. I have had mine on my truck for ten years and my wife's for nine years with no glass or window problems.
