Derek that's way over my head.. I'm not going to ask questions for awhile..:)

    Hello LPt.

He was asking you to remove / wait / replace the battery on the motherboard to reset to default the BIOS information stored on the motherboard chip and I assume he mentioned that you had to discharge any residual static electrical charge that your body had stored before touching the motherboard / battery.

BFK.. Ijust knew that had something to do with static electricity.. I'm not sure how I knew.. must be deep in there some place..lol..
    Thank you much .
Is he talking about making sure you ground yourself, by touching the metal casing, or having access to grounding gloves before you remove the battery?
For that matter you should always ground yourself before working on the inners of the computer. Thereby eliminating any sparks flying to fry your computer.

Was not able to drive to Leipzig today, so staying another night alone here, hoping to be able to drive tomorrow morning.

To kill time, I watched Comedy Central's Roast of Joan Rivers just now. Maybe it reveals a lack of civilization in me, but I've never before seen an episode of this show.

I've always thought I have a good sense of humor, but this went over my head. Almost every word was the f-word or derived from it, or different names to male and female parts needed to do that. In fact, if I leave out those words, here's a complete transcript of Joan Rivers episode:
    Tonight at Comedy Central Roast...

    Good night!
A good joke is fun. A good joke can IMO also be based on sexuality, or lust; it's just normal. But I think it goes too easily too far, this show was at least for me a good example of that.

For us the show is rated K15 (Finnish, not German rating; was watching this from my Finnish TV stream service). This means that the show can not be aired before 9PM, and it is prohibited (who controls that?) from kids under 15 years of age. I did notice that the American rating was TV-MA L, meaning "mature audience only, possible crude indecent language".

A question to you Americans: Over there, who decides these ratings? Networks themselves, or is there an authority like we have? Do people over there really care about the ratings, do you let your kids to choose what to watch or are you forbidding rated shows and films?

Kari ....Rivers has a filthy mouth.. comedians can have a great show and never use foul language.. I recall fondly .. Red Skeleton.. was hilarious ..along with many more.. never bad taste or language.
NO I would never have allowed any child of mine to watch or hear Rivers... especially her comedy shows... she is okay on other shows...somehow .. the bad out weighs the good in her.:)

Dome Delouise(sp), Dean Martin, Johnny Carson, Don Rickles were also great comedians.
Especially on nights when they all got together and Roasted somebody.
