Well, I am not allowed in the country anymore if I don't root for Brazil, so I will.... Indeed that is the only time I watch football, and I enjoy it. And I think we got a decent team and a down-to-earth coach, so a real chance.

Now, what is the free TV deal???

Here in the UK if you buy certain TVs from Toshiba (or some other brands) this Summer and England win the world cup, Toshiba will refund you the entire price of the TV :).

In terms of whether or not we can win, I think England will do what we always do, play really well until the quarter finals and then get nocked out by a fairly mediocre team.

    Fingers crossed .

Oh and for Brazil, I may not support them in football but I support them in cricket because my old Latin Teacher plays International Cricket for Brazil .

Thanks for the explanation. That means there will be a lot of Japanese rooting against England... :)

Now, are you serious about a Brazilian International Cricket team? I could never imagine we have one. I doubt most people know what cricket is (if you ask they will say it is a cigarette lighter... )
