Wow, I would have never guessed. He is right when he says they wouldn't have a team if they didn't allow foreigners.... Funny that the South American Cup had 3 teams... And probably most of the people were actually English!

I think I remember him saying it was something like 2 Scots (including him) a couple of guys from India, another few from Australia, a couple from England and they had one guy who was actually from Brazil (I gather he wasn't very good ).

Personally I can't stand football and hate the world cup especially.
Friends who are avid fans tell me that our national team is weak at this time and that the US are a pretty strong team for a change

Maybe they'll beat England in the first round and then we can have our regular tv schedule back

Can't see them changing the schedule though even if England do get knocked out early.

I've been playing crown green bowls in the sunshine this afternoon as part of my work in mental health care.
Great, relaxing, way to spend time and we had a good laugh (eight of us).
