Re the ongoing Google old page Saga. It is clear there is distinct difference between the US version of Google front page and the UK. So JUST FOR UK MEMBERS: To get back to the old Google home page put "www.google.com" into the address bar, press enter and make that your home page. It must be possible to do it in the US but I can't work that one out and it is not a big enough problem for me to cross the pond for

I never go to the Google homepage. If I am going to search for something, I have the search bar in Firefox set up for Google(see snip). Am I the only one that doesn't go to the Google homepage?

Well mitchell no need to cross the pond, it seems to have been sorted out, for me anyway.

Nope I use Chrome (a safari convert I might be going back soon if Safari 5 allows custom themes ) so I just use the Search/URL bar.

When I first saw "igoogle" in this thread, I though Apple had bought Google! Don't scare me like that!

At the rate their going at the moment Google and Apple are going to become even more bitter rivals than they already are.

I think the chances of Apple forcing AdMob into submission is extremely likely but an all out take over... I think some regulatory bodies will have something to say about that.
