Thanks, guys. This is quite new thing in my life; although I've had these problems a couple years now, I just got it diagnosed last month. I'm still learning to cope, one important thing for instance is to learn to anticipate an upcoming attack. It could have catastrophic consequences to drive 200 kmph on these German no-speed-limit-Autobahns, when suddenly you can not focus anymore and the whole world starts spinning.
It's also a question of dignity, or rather how to maintain it when a sudden vertigo attack hits and you throw up on your lap in a full restaurant or tram or something Only happened twice, but IMO it's twice too often.
