Joan I hope your enjoying your day.. it's hot and humid here..
I'll be watching all the 4th celebrations on tv tonite from my recliner..
I was out last evening at a huge fireworks show .. way too hot to be out..
along with very high humidity.

There will be celebrations all across the USA on TV tonite...
Washington DC Mall will be filled with those celebrating...music singers... and those lovely fireworks to close it all.
I wish those who don't live in the USA could see it on Tv along with us... it's a fantastic sight.

Woke up at close to my normal going to bed time (5am ) to drop my car off at the Insurance Assessors. I was a little miffed to discover that they weren't going to fix some of the damage because it was supposedly 'pre-existing damage' that I'd never noticed before...

They thought I was trying to pull a shifty when I wasn't. I claimed that if it was pre-existing, it was at the least exacerbated. No dice.

Ah well. It's only something that someone will get damaged again in a carpark anyway. Just like the 99.9% of tiny dings and scratches caused by others in carparks.

So since they provided a free taxi home, I 'tipped' the driver with their money. Generous of me since Aussies DO NOT TIP (It's definitely not in our culture to do so)

Roasted my butt off. I live in Wisconsin. and it was 95 and humid.

A long lonely night ended in office. I slept for almost 9hrs. Feeling fresh now. Had shower, breasfast, etc. My shift starts in the next 45 mins. I hope the Irish people are aware of the strike in India and dont bombard the contact center with calls.
