THANK GOODNESS FOR THE ITALIANS …

A Greek and Italian were talking one day discussing who had the
superior culture. Over coffee the Greek says, "Well, we have the
Parthenon."

The Italian replies, "We have the Coliseum."

The Greek retorts, "We Greeks gave birth to mathematics."

The Italian, nodding, says, "But we built the Roman Empire ."

And, so on and so on until the Greek comes up with what he thinks will
end the discussion. With a flourish of finality he says, "We invented
sex!"

The Italian replies, "That is true, but it was the Italians who
Introduced it to women."

I have not heard anything from the school yet. I have been watching Le Mans DVD starring Steve McQueen.

I saw that in theater when I was a kid. Used to wear a helmet I had (Evel Knievel) and a dickie (remember those!) up over my mouth like I was a race car driver after that, lol

My instructor rang this morning and she has done her back in. She is on tablets and they make her drowsy. so she cannot really drive/teach. I have arranged the lesson for the same time next week.
