We arrived back home about 02:30 this morning after a really wonderful time with with my daughter and her two kids, my son and his two kids, and Mae Lyne's oldest daughter. Grand kids are just wonderful. I romped with them in the Gulf surf and played with them in the swimming pool. The idea was to wear them them; but guess who got worn out? Anyway, we had a great trip and it was a nice break for my wife and I from the caregiving.

It was 97 here today and no sea breeze to cool things off. I should've stayed in Destin!

I'm so glad to hear that your trip went well Carl and you had a good time with the grandchildren.

I expect the break has given you both a new lease of life and the energy to continue with the caregiving again.:)

Finally back home. Had a nice dinner. There's nothing like mom's hand made food.

That was sarcasm as I have no room to talk of 'others' as this machine occupies all my free time though it is what I choose to do and I am aware I'm doing it.

Thank you, Joan. It did give us a new lease on life. We don't mind the caregiving and consider it a privilege; but getting a break from it refreshes the body , mind and soul.
