Good ones Sanvean, makes me remember listening to "Modern Rock" when these 1st came out. I'm still a classic rock guy, but have always listened to what's new. My friends were stuck on Foghat and Foreigner and didn't want to hear, lol.
My favorite of that bunch is the Icicle Works. The Modern English always makes me think of the movie Valley Girl :)
Some nice ones. I enjoyed Nouvelle Vague and The Pretenders are ace.
I think you're more into hard rock than I am Bill. Here's some of my favourites. I've posted them all before but I love em
I'm not sure if these other songs violate the forum rooms. Technically they are religious in nature, but still beautiful. I think the religions rule applies to topics of debate only and hopefully not works of art like these.
Like all those Bill. They bring back some very happy memories and some sad ones.
The La's song is gorgeous. It's a pity they never really matched it again. Perfect pop.
Richard Ashcroft has made some more recent stuff. I think this is nice. I suppose it's 4 or 5 years ago now though.
