    Nothing as theres nothing than can use them at the potential
    Bit like ati cards with there 500 million stream processors but only half ever get used

    Well, the Cray Jaguar has 224.000 cores - and someone is using them all. You just need the right software.

    I believe 3d rendering software would use it all...instead of using 10 quad core pc to render, would be nice to have 1 or 2.

    48 cores? hmmm...

    let's see:
    -web browser: seven forums and espn tabs
    -windows media center
    -twitter client
    (all these running at the same time, obviously)

    absolutely the same thing i do now with 4 cores (don't get fully used)
