    Plans for the summer...

    No BIG plans here...
Our 4 y.o. finishes pre-school this Thursday and our 7 y.o. finishes 1st grade next Thursday. The girls have talked about wanting to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Again, they're just 7 & 4, so wife and I don't think they'll have too much fun there (even though there is a kid friendly part of the park).

So my wife suggested Legoland. Everyone seems to be on board with that so far. Plus, Knott's Berry Farm is a place they've already visited so we might do that too.

We really can't make major out-of-town-plans as our 7 y.o. is involved in summer program. But, wife and I have also talked about taking a train ride up the coast to the Bay area for the weekend.

Anyone have plans for the summer--big or small?
(If anyone's plans involve coming to California, Los Angeles to be exact, I just want to break some (bad) news to you: Hollywood is NOT like what you see on television!)

You mean it's not an overpriced, vacuously inhabited superficial land of blatant insincerity where backstabbing transcends well beyond an art form and where the real machinations of it's continuing existence ultimately thrives upon a steady and seedy underbelly of downright scum?

    That is disappointing
