When I was young my passion was TV. Now its the computer. When on vacation, I forget about it, but when I am home, one or two days at most.

That's the way I am, I can leave home and I don't WANT acess to my computer or the net for days. But when I am at home, when I don't have it, I want it EVEN MORE.

Why does that sound like the Starfleet regulation mentioned in Star Trek 2?

First few days are the hardest, but after that I could live weeks without computer. I think that computer just takes too much time. And TV too.
Just remembered, I use my computer at my job. So max will be 3 days :P

I think in psychology we learned about the hierarchy of human needs ... food, shelter, money, affection, etc. Is a PC in there somewhere? I forget.

Seriously though, I think I would get pretty bored after a few days, and quite anxious beyond that. My computer is such a mental stimulant and my gateway to the world, it's hard to imagine being without it.

But I do try to balance my life with other non-electronic things.

Only when I go to sleep. But hey, I have a Nokia E71 enough for me to check emails and YM to my family and friends.

I am still receiving different BSOD screens. My latest is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0X1A(0X41287). So, I looked it up on Carrona.org. It said: Internal memory management structures are corrupted. To further investigate the cause, a kernel memory dump file is needed. The problem is my computer won't stay on...
