Video gamer stabbed after found cheating

Cheating in video games is considered a serious crime in China. A 16 year-old player was recently stabbed in the head when he was caught wall-hacking while playing a game in the Chinese province of Jilin.
Xiao Wei was playing Counter-Strike, a first-person shooter game by Valve Software. He was caught using a wall-hack, which allows a player to see through solid objects and alter or move textures. This helps an opponent see when another player comes within shooting range.
A gang of other players caught him cheating and stabbed him in the head with a 14-centimeter, rusty blade. Wei was forced to walk to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Jilin University with the aid of a friend. The gang that committed the offense fled the scene.
After 10 hours of surgery, Wei was saved - and doctors stated that he shouldn't lose any motor functions or memories. "His face was covered in blood, but he was still conscious,' Professor Yan Shijun, deputy director of neurosurgery department of the hospital, stated.
"When we were playing games, a group of people from the same cafe came to us, saying we must install some software to win the game. Then we had an argument with them," Wei's accomplice Huang, said of the incident. "My left arm was stabbed through by them, and when they had gone, I found Xiao Wei was lying on the ground with a knife in his head."
This crime may reflect on the owner of the internet cafe, who shouldn't be allowing minors into the store - and may be held accountable for Wei's injury.

Gamers are getting really hardcore these days...
But at the same time, if you can't play without cheating, it's not worth playing online...
