    Username colours

I thought i'd ask a silly question....Hence the 'Chillout Zone'

I've notice that a lot of people have a username colour that matches their status (e.g. Power User = Purple, Admin = Red). There are 2 colours that confuse me at the minute and that's Yellow & Black.

Is it user changed or status relevant?

I explain some of it here. :)

    My color has changed?

As yellow, do you mean brown/gold? it means the'yre banned. Black is for Guru. Not all the colors match the user name colors.

I know, but Orbital Shark has access to it. Here, this is what I had posted.

    Red- Admin
    Light Blue-Super Mod-Invite only
    Blue- Moderator-Invite only
Light Purple / which is sort of a bluish green badge-SF Team-Invite only
    Orange-Developer
    Black-Seven GURU
    Purple- Seven Pro
    Sort of Fuchsia color-Power User
    Light Green-Skilled
    Green-Supporter

    Gold-Banned

The colors are just different ways of telling the status of members.

It takes a certain amount of rep and posts to reach a certain level.

And the Admins can promote whomever they see deserves it.

This link below is from the Vistax64 site, but it shows the points a member would have to reach to get a certain level, unless they're promoted by the admins first.

redsoxm16, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
and i just got upgraded to power user

    i feel left out

Yeah, as I said, not all colors match the user name color. Usually when someone is just a supporter, and not even to the skilled level yet, there name is a light orange color.

Thanks guys, i know that gold/dim yellow is banned but i've seen 'active' yellow. I've seen 'supporters' only as green. It's no biggie i'm just curious is all...
